This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all customers and users of services provided by Allpoint Networx (“Allpoint,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our internet, voice, and related services, you agree to use them only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this AUP.
1. Lawful Use
You may not use our services in any manner that violates any applicable local, state, or federal law or regulation. You are responsible for all activity occurring through your account, equipment, and connection.
2. Prohibited Activities
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Using the service to transmit, store, or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or obscene material.
- Sending unsolicited bulk email, spam, phishing messages, or other deceptive communications.
- Distributing malware, ransomware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, network, or data.
- Interfering with or disrupting the normal operation, security, or performance of our network or another party’s systems.
- Reselling or redistributing residential service without our written authorization.
- Using the service in a way that infringes intellectual property rights or other legal rights of any person or entity.
- Engaging in denial-of-service attacks, network scanning, hacking attempts, or similar abusive conduct.
3. Network Integrity
You may not use our service in a way that harms, degrades, overburdens, or unreasonably interferes with our network, our services, or the use of our services by other customers. We may investigate activity that appears to threaten network performance, security, or reliability.
4. Customer Equipment and Security
You are responsible for the security and proper configuration of your devices, software, local network, and passwords. You are responsible for activity on your account, whether or not such activity is authorized by you, unless caused solely by our negligence.
5. Email, Messaging, and Abuse
Our services may not be used to send spam, impersonate another person or entity, harvest addresses, conduct fraud, or distribute deceptive or misleading messages. We may block or limit traffic associated with abusive conduct to protect our network and other users.
6. Monitoring and Enforcement
We may monitor, investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate service where we reasonably believe a violation of this AUP has occurred, where necessary to protect the network, or where required by law. We may also cooperate with law enforcement and other authorities as permitted or required by law.
7. Violations
If we determine that your use of the service violates this AUP, we may take action that includes warnings, traffic blocking, service suspension, or service termination. We may act without prior notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect the network, our customers, or third parties.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and will become effective upon posting unless otherwise stated.
